Where is the exit to the coronary sinus found?
Q. I would have thought this meant the "coronary sinus oriface" in the right atrium. But i would have called that the "entry" not the exit! Since the blood is coming INTO the right atrium. So, if we consider that the entry, where is the exit? Does the blood that supplies the myocardium exit from the aorta like all other arterial blood? Or is there some fancy mechanism for coronary circulation, such as it drains from the left atrium!?? I hope this makes sense thanks!

A. The coronary sinus receives deoxygenated blood from the myocardium and does drain into the right atrium. You had it right, it just goes into the RA along with the IVC and SVC. It even has its own little valve to prevent backwash.
