PODS, or Portable On Demand Storage is a moving and storage company. It was founded in 1998 and is based in Clearwater, Florida. BusinessPODS operates by delivering a storage container to the customer's house. The containers are constructed of plywood over steel frames, are available in three sizes, and customers have the only set of keys to the units. The customer can pack their items in it and have the unit stored at a warehouse, or it can be delivered to another location. The units and warehouse are owned by local franchises. PODS is working with Sprint Nextel to use wireless GPS that can be used to track trucks in the fleet and to give directions to drivers making deliveries. From Wikipedia under the

The acutal POD company itself will do the transporting. The trip will take approximately 7-10 days. Will there absolutely be a problem if I don't drain the gasoline and/oil from the motorcylces .. Q. I am a writer, though i consider myself new. I have written two books- actually one book and one booklet. One was published with a POD company called Virtualbookworm. Yes, i did pay for the publishing, but unlike other POD companies, they don't accept all manuscripts for publication. I also have recently self published a small booklet. In addition to that i've had several articles published in small magazines. However, i still consider myself relatively new because i've never been hired for steady writing work anywhere, and my published work has been few and far between. I got plenty of work with pay. $200 - $500 for articles, research and translation work. Some need ghost writers, speech writers and the like. You do not get writing credit but you will get recommendations and can utilize these connections as references. In plenty of cases the people contacted me outside of the website and we were able to work together on larger projects with more money involved on a semi-regular payment schedule.
